In memory of Ted Gordon
(OCI History & Principal, 1958-70, 1972-76)
It is with
profound sadness that we learned of the passing of Ted Gordon on February
27, 2011. Mr Gordon was a beloved
OCI History Teacher, Coach and Principal, who taught and inspired many
Oakwoodites. We were very grateful
and honoured to have him lead the Sunday War Memorial Rededication Service
at the OCI 100th Anniversary in May 2008. The Obituary is available at this link.

In memory of Vincent Del Buono (OCI 1967)
It is with
great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Vincent Del Buono on
April 13,
2010. He was known internationally
as a legal scholar and practitioner in
criminal
justice and human rights reform.
Vince was Caput President (1966-1967) and with his brother, Robert
Del Buono, sponsored the OCI Del Buono Award for General Proficiency, in
honour of their brother, John Del Buono (OCI 1964-1967). The OCAA extends its deepest condolences
to Jennifer Pothier, wife of Vincent, and to the Del Buono family for their
