Student Recognition
The Bayview staff firmly believe in the positive value of recognizing the contributions of students. Students are recognized for their academic, athletic and/or co-curricular accomplishments at Term Assemblies and the Graduation Ceremony.

The following are some of the types of positive recognition students at Bayview Middle School receive:

At Term Assemblies:
- Athlete of the Term
- Honour Roll
- Math Mania (perfect score on one or more challenges)
- Teams and/or club participation
- Office Helpers

At the Graduation Ceremony:
- Athlete of the Year
- French Award
- Honour Roll
- Music Award
- OPC Award for Student Leadership
- Principal’s Honour Roll (Honour Roll status in all nine terms of middle school)
- Valedictorians
