Keeping the natural environment healthy for future generations depends on everyone's participation. At Elizabeth Simcoe, we are proud to be a leader in the Toronto District School Board's EcoSchools Program and Environment Policy.

As a Pollinator school, we make environmental protection a part of school life by:

1. Promoting environmental literacy for all students.
2. Establishing environmentally sound operational practices.
3. Ensuring that an environmental education component is in our planning process.

Why Are We An Ecoschool?

We want to help prepare our students to become responsible citizens and help them to learn to balance the interdependent needs of a healthy environment, a healthy economy and a healthy society.
