Blue Jays Game

What a wonderful singing of the national anthems by the grades 2-5 students.  Thank you to Mrs. Tiernay, Mrs. Lee, and Mrs. Jenkins for their preparation.   Thank you to the parents for your support.  It was great to see Elkhorn on “the big screen”!

A PROGRAM FOR THE FUN FAIR IS ATTACHED. PLEASE HAVE A LOOK—THERE WILL BE SO MANY GREAT EVENTS, ATTRACTIONS & FOOD

Also check out our Fun Fair page to see the great auction items (new ones being added daily) including a Dyson vacuum, hotel stays in Montreal, New York City and Miami, as well as the great theme baskets being made by your child's grade.  http://elkhornschoolcouncil.weebly.com/fun-fair-2012.html

We need Books, Movies and Video Games:

If you have any old books and movies (VHS/DVD/BLUERAY) and video games in good condition that you would like to donate to the school for fundraising at the Fun Fair, please bring them into the school office. There is a donation box behind the door.

We need Baked Goods:

Every year, we do a bake sale for the Fun Fair. Parents are asked to bring in baked goods to the kitchen (door between the gym and the office) on the morning of the Fun Fair (Saturday, May 26th). If they are non-perishable, feel free to bring them to the kitchen the day before (Friday, May 25th).

We need Tables:

If you have any folding tables to borrow for the day of the event. Please bring them Friday, May 25th or on the morning of the Fun Fair (Saturday, May 26th) between 9 and 10 am. Please mark them with your name as well as your child’s name/class.

We need still need volunteers (especially high school students) for day of event:

We need parent and high school student volunteers from 9am to 4pm (even for a few hours) to help make this event a success. High school students can earn up to 8 volunteer hours. Please email elkhornvolunteer@gmail.com with your time availabilities.

Thank you!

We’d like to thank all the volunteers, sponsors and Elkhorn staff for helping to bring together the students and the community. We could not do this without you.

Reminder:  MANY MORE DONATIONS ARE NEEDED!

In lieu of a class craft, the grade teams will be making up baskets of donated items for raffle this year.  If you wish to donate, it would be greatly appreciated.  Please send all items to your child’s teacher.
