Cross Country Team

This year was the first year of a Faywood Cross Country program in many years. Approximately 30 students participated and practiced 4 times a week, improving their health, endurance and stamina. The team represented Faywood extremely well at the North Conference semi-finals with the Grade 3's leading the way with 15 participants. Three athletes managed to qualify for the Conference finals. These 3 continued to showcase the work ethic from Faywood and represented extremely well with two of the three qualifying for the Toronto City Championship meet. It was a fantastic season and we are looking forward to getting more students out in 2012. A big thanks goes out to Mr. Markovski, our Coach for all of his hard work and leadership!!
