2009-2010 EQAO Results
We write you today to share with you the Grade 3 and Grade 6 EQAO results from June 2010.
EQAO assessments are in math, reading and writing and they are provincial tests that all grade 3 and 6 students take each year in May.
In the spring of 2010, we wrote specifically to grade 3 and 6 parents and asked for their support in helping their child prepare for the EQAO assessments. We asked parents to see and sign the planners regularly and to make sure that homework was completed.
Our teachers worked very hard and they persisted in asking students to be on time, to be focused, and to complete and correct homework. We are very proud of the great results which are on the back of this letter. We are above all the provincial results and the Toronto District School Board results.
EQAO preparation is ONE part of our school math and literacy plans. The 2010-2011 School Plan is complete and was shared with the parents at the November Parent Council Meeting.
