Main God or Goddess

BUDDHISM

The main God is Buddha. He was the founder of Buddhism.

CHRISTIANITY

Jesus is the son of God. His mother Mary was a virgin. Jesus is worshipped because if you’re sick, hurt or have problems in life you pray to him and he might make them better.

HINDUISM

Krishana is important because he is our main God.
Lukshmi is important because she is the God of wealth. Lukshmi is worshipped because on Diwali, you leave you door open for Lukshmi’s luck.

ISLAM

Muslims believe in one God and his name is Allah.
Allah made everything and Allah is everywhere

JUDAISM

The name of the Jewish God is Elohim. He has a lot of names but the Jews still believe in one God. Jews believe God will send Messiah to bring peace all over the world, that’s why he/she is worshipped.

RASTAFARIANISM

The Rastafarians believe in Jah (God). Haile Selassie is Jah. He is also known as the Ethiopian Black Messiah.

SIKHISM

Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh are the main Gurus. Guru Nanak is important because he is the first Guru and Guru Gobind Singh is important because he is the last Guru. The first and last Gurus are important because they're like beginning and ending.

TAOISM

The Taoism religion doesn't have any gods or goddesses.They believe in the Yin Yang and they set goals in their lives.

ZOROASTRIANISM

The Zoroastrians only believe in one God. They believe in the God named Ahura mazda. Ahura Mazda is important to Zoroastrians because he is considered as the wise lord.
