TEJ3M1: Computer Engineering Technology, Grade 11, University/College Preparation
This course examines computer systems and control of external devices. Students will assemble computers and small networks by installing and configuring appropriate hardware and software. Students will develop knowledge and skills in electronics, robotics, programming, and networks, and will build systems that use computer programs and interfaces to control and/or respond to external devices. Students will develop an awareness of environmental and social issues related to the use of computers, and will learn about college and university programs leading to careers in computer engineering

TGJ3M1: Communications Technology, Grade 11, University/College Preparation
This course examines communications systems and design and production processes in the areas of electronic, live, recorded, and graphic communications. Students will develop knowledge and skills relating to the assembly, operation, maintenance, and repair of the basic and more complex components of a range of communications systems. Students will also study industry standards and regulations and health and safety issues, and will explore careers, the importance of lifelong learning, and the impact of communications technology on society and the environment.

TGP3M1: Communication Technology with an emphasis on Photography, Grade 11, University/College Preparation
This course examines communications systems and design and production processes in the areas of electronic, live, recorded, and graphic communications. Students will develop knowledge and skills relating to the assembly, operation, maintenance, and repair of the basic and more complex components of a range of communications systems. Students will also study industry standards and regulations and health and safety issues, and will explore careers, the importance of lifelong learning, and the impact of communications technology on society and the environment.This course emphasises image making, film development, and printing of black and white still photographs. These skills serve as a background to both theory and practical assignments.
