Hours (whenever possible):
Visit the School Library Site for reference information. We're on the first floor near the main office.
Malvern Library helps support the curriculum by teaching students how to access, select, and evaluate print and electronic information. The library houses fiction and non-fiction books, reference materials, magazines, and on-line resources to help students research their assignments. Resources are carefully chosen with staff collaboration to reflect the curriculum. There is also an extensive French collection to support the French Extended and Immersion program, and a small Spanish collection.
Library computers are used to access resources using the library catalogue, on-line databases, and the internet. The computers are equipped with the same software used in the computer labs for students to finish their assignments. As well, the Library has a wireless network for students to access the internet using their own devices.
There is also a photocopier and a scanner in the Library for student use.
