African Heritage Month Workshop

On Monday during period B, Malvern is hosting the wonderful Ms. Jill Andrew who is running a special workshop in the Library as part of Malvern's African Heritage Month workshop series.

The focus of this workshop is "Queer Black History" and it will examine issues of homophobia as well as celebrate the accomplishments of many historical Queer Black leaders.

Students who want to participate in this special workshop are asked to see Mr. Izzo ASAP as the workshop is almost full.


Book Club  • Next Book Club Meeting

Attention Book Readers! The next meeting of the Malvern Book Club we be held on Friday, Feb 24 at lunch. That means you have just under 2 weeks to finish Hitchin' Rides with Budha.


Co-op & Dual Credit Lunch

Any students interested in Dual Credits or Co-op for next year are welcome to attend an information meeting Feb. 14th at lunch in B102.  Find out how you can get a college credit while you are in high school, where you could work and the other benefits of Co-op!


LaserQuest  • Field Trip TODAY

****Please Read Last**** Mr. Steel's grade 10 students are dismissed at 11:40 today to attend the LaserQuest Optics field trip. The 135 Gerrard Bus comes at 11:50, please catch this bus to make it to LaserQuest on time. See Mr. Steel. Maps are available outside of room 203. Be at LaserQuest for 12:30!!! Do not be late!


Math Club

Come join the Math Club.  We think "rationally" and we have no "limits".  It will be " exponentially" fun.  This Monday at lunch in room 103.


Senior Boys' Basketball

On Friday, our Senior Boys' basketball team played a solid game versus UTS in Quarterfinal action.  With offensive contributions from every member of the team, we secured the victory by a score of 57-29.

Lets get ready for the semi finals on Tuesday!


Social Justice Conference Planning Session

Malvern's School Climate Council is hosting a special planning session on Tuesday at lunch in room #213 to coordinate and finalize plans for the Social Justice Conference. All those involved are asked to continue exploring and finalizing plans that they can share at Tuesday's lunch meeting in room #213. See Mr. Izzo or Ms. Furgiuele if you have more questions.
