The Student School is a small alternative secondary school with 175 students and 8 teachers. We provide a warm, supportive environment for students to attain their diplomas.

Acceptance, equity and participatory democracy are essential components of our school. We are semestered, and almost all of our students continue on to university or college.

Our classes run daily, and we stress skill development in the following areas:

• Comprehension and application of theory,
• Research and essay writing and presentation skills,
• Critical thinking, analysis and evaluation of historic and contemporary issues.
